Legend on the Bench Charity Bench Reveal,
Kingston upon Thames, April 23rd, 2026 | Men’s Mental Health Day
It was a real honour to be part of the Legend on the Bench charity bench reveal in Kingston upon Thames on Men’s Mental Health Day.
These benches are far more than just a place to sit, they stand as a powerful reminder that no one has to face their struggles alone. They represent conversation, reflection, and the importance of checking in on one another, especially when it comes to men’s mental health, a topic that still needs greater awareness and openness.
I want to say a sincere thank you to Gary MacNeil, Senior Construction manager for Volker Fitzpatrick, who went above and beyond to support our Charity and get this Bench installed on one of their worksites. Thank you Gary for your time effort and Committment, youre a top man.

A massive Thank You to Volker Fitzpatrick who funded the installation of the Bench. With the current ratio of Suicides in the Construction Industry, our Benches are very much needed, your kindness is helping save lives.
A big thank you to everyone in attendance, your support is very much appreciated and you are helping save lives. To everyone playing their own special part in bringing this initiative to life, from the organisers and supporters to the wider community who continue to show up and make a difference. Your efforts are helping to create safe, visible spaces where people can pause, think, and, most importantly, feel encouraged to talk.
These benches are truly special, they carry meaning, purpose, and the potential to change lives in the simplest but most powerful way.
With your continued support, our charity can keep growing, raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, and helping to save lives along the way.
Thank you all ❤️
