Bench Reveal 106 in Woodbridge Ipswich

Legend on the Bench Charity โ€“ Bench #106

Lovely Words from Our Local Champions Colin ๐Ÿ’™

Another incredible and moving day in the journey of the Legend on the Bench Charity.

A small gathering of family, friends, and supporters joined Sandra Jacobs for the dedication and reveal of the bench she has fundraised for in memory of her Dad, Stephen.

The bench was unveiled at Lower Ufford Bridge near Woodford, a beautiful, scenic spot for one of our suicide prevention and mental health support benches.

As Area Champion for the East Anglia region, I had the honor of standing in for charity founders Michelle and Micky Hazard to represent the charity.

Following the introductions, Sandra spoke with such strength and pride about her Dad and her desire to dedicate a bench to his memory at Lower Ufford Bridge.

The reveal was carried out by Sandra and her daughter Amber, in the glorious spring sunshine by the river. The bench features a portrait of Stephen and a Timeless Tribute QR code, sharing memories of him for all who visit.

It was wonderful to see past, present, and future fundraisers supporting the charity. Keith Cartwright-Jones (Saxmundham Judo Club, benches #12 and #13) and Derek Davis (representing the Shotley team, who will soon have their own two-bench reveal on April 9th) were also in attendance.

All in all, a truly successful bench reveal here in the Suffolk countryside.

Thank you Colin, we very much appreciate all you do.

SOMEONE IS ALWAYS LISTENING ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
