Local Champions are the driving force behind the Legend on the Bench movement at the community level. These passionate individuals take on the responsibility of bringing LOTB to life in their local and surrounding area.
The role of our Local Champions includes promoting the mission of Legend on the Bench within the community, creating awareness through bench reveals, local events, social media and local media releases, fundraising to support bench installations in the local area, and co-ordinating bench placement in meaningful, visible locations and suicide hotspots.
Local Champions are trusted stewards of the Legend on the Bench vision, ensuring that its reputation and goals are honoured with the highest level of dedication and respect.
