What a truly wonderful day in Walton on the Naze as we proudly installed our 115th Suicide Prevention Bench π
The turnout was incredible. It meant so much to be joined by former partners and supporters, including Emma, who raised funds for the very first bench in Walton, and Stephen Browning of Clacton Lions, who did the same for Clacton. It was so special to see you all there, your continued support means everything, and we look forward to sharing many more bench reveals together.
As always, the unveiling was a deeply inspiring moment. The bench was unveiled by local councillor Anne Hoxley, whose passion and determination made this project possible, alongside her husband David, an integral part of the team, and a representative from Frinton Rotary Club, one of the Bench sponsors.
A heartfelt thank you to Anne and David. Your dedication, energy, and the incredible work you put into preparing the garden around the bench have created something truly meaningful for the community. Your commitment is helping to save lives. We thank you with all our hearts.

We are also so grateful to our sponsors, you are making a real difference:

And thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing this bench to life and to those who attended the unveiling. Your presence made the day even more special.

A bench is more than just a seat, itβs a lifeline. It offers a moment to pause, reflect, and find support. It stands as a symbol of hope, compassion, and connection, a reminder that no one is alone and help is always within reach.
Someone is always listening.
