Next bench reveal: March 19th.

We are delighted to confirm the date and venue of our 103rd Bench Reveal, to be held in Chelmsford on Thursday 19th March.

This one is especially meaningful, as it is in memory of one of the greatest footballers to ever play the game, “Sir” Jimmy Greaves. There will be a Greaves QR code on the bench, it will be linked to Jimmy’s life with many of the great goals he scored on his journey through football, all posted on there as a special tribute and memory of Jimmy.

We are honoured and thrilled to be installing this bench in Chelmsford, the area where Jimmy grew up. As always you are more than welcome to come along and support this wonderful Bench Reveal 🙏

The Jimmy Greaves Foundation very kindly donated £4,000 to Legend on the Bench, and we have since worked closely with Jimmy’s family to coordinate this special reveal. The day has finally arrived where we will unveil another Suicide Prevention Bench in his memory.

Jimmy was an incredible footballer whose legacy in the game will live on forever. Now, thanks to the Greaves Foundation, he will also leave another powerful legacy, a legacy that helps save lives.
