Installation of our 42nd Suicide Prevention Bench today 16/08/2025 in Leiston, Suffolk.
The Bench was installed in memory of Joshua David Fisk and was unveiled by Joshua's immediate family, Mum Lisa, Dad Jamie, Brother James and sister Scarlett.

As always it was another beautiful day with in excess of 50 people turning up to view the unveiling. Included in the attendees was the Mayor of Lieston-cum-sizewell Lesley Hill. Representing LOTB as one of our Local Champions was Colin Merryweather who gave an overview of the charity, its progress and mission for the future.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Lisa and her husband Jamie, whose incredible commitment, effort, and unwavering support have meant the world to us. Lisa ( Josh's Mum ) made an incredibly moving speech about Josh and how his friends had worked so hard to help fund the bench in Josh’s memory. Your dedication has been felt at every step of this journey, and we are deeply grateful for everything you do for our charity.
Josh would be so proud of you as we all are. Your strength, kindness, and compassion shine through in everything you do, and we’re honoured to have you as part of this community. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

A massive thank you to Colin Merryweather, your comittment to the cause is incredible and we appreciate you more than you will ever know, you are a Legend.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Legend on the Bench reveal, it was truly fantastic to see you all there. Your presence made the day even more special, and it was a powerful reminder of the strength and unity of our community.

To everyone who worked so hard to make this happen — thank you. Your dedication, time, and heart are not only appreciated, they are helping to save lives. This bench is more than a tribute; it’s a symbol of hope, support, and the impact we can make when we come together.. 🙏🙏🙏💙
