📣 Suicide Prevention Bench Unveiling – Dublin 6th September 2025

We’re proud to announce that Legend on the Bench will be installing our 49th and 50th Suicide Prevention Benches in Dublin on Saturday, 6th September.

The locations for both bench unveilings are listed below. As always, you are warmly invited to attend, your presence helps make these events even more meaningful.

We feel incredibly fortunate as a Suicide Prevention Charity to have the continued support of so many good people. Over the years, we’ve had the honour of having legendary footballers such as Pat Jennings, Brian Stein, Mark Falco, Kevin McNaughton, David Howells, and Ossie Ardiles unveil our benches – some attending as many as five times. Their support has been truly humbling.

For our upcoming event in Dublin, we are deeply honoured to welcome Glenn Hoddle as the guest to unveil our 49th and 50th benches. Glenn is a football legend of the highest calibre, and having someone of his stature support our mission is both a thrill and a privilege.

They say “never meet your heroes”, but I’ve met many of mine, and each has lived up to and even surpassed my expectations.

We have also arranged for two additional benches to be installed in Belfast at a later date. We will share the exact details and venue through our social media channels closer to the time.
