Legend on the Bench --- Bench Reveal 54

Location: Pitstone, Leighton Buzzard.

Immediately after the Biggleswade Bench Reveal, we made our way to Leighton Buzzard, to the Memorial Hall in Pitstone.

Our first stop was the PRS Furniture offices, who generously funded the bench to be installed at the Memorial Hall. We were warmly welcomed, treated to lunch, and had the opportunity to sit in on one of their meetings. It was inspiring to hear about the amazing work they’re doing in support of the local community and beyond. Well done to everyone at PRS, you should feel incredibly proud.

After lunch, we headed over to the venue for the unveiling. As we arrived, we spotted our bench, standing in all its glory in the middle of the grounds. It gave me goosebumps and a real sense of pride.

Four members of the PRS team carried out the unveiling, the moment the cover came off, there was a truly magical feeling. It’s very special Knowing the hope and support this bench will bring to others in their time of need is simply amazing.

A heartfelt thank you to PRS for your generous donation, your ongoing support, and your kind hospitality. You made us feel like royalty. Keep doing what you’re doing, you are making a real difference, and the world is better for it.

Thank you also to everyone who attended the unveiling, your presence made the day even more special.

And finally, a sincere apology to Andy from Dublin Spurs, who arrived at the originally advertised time of 12:00. The event time had changed to 1:30, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to update the flyer in time. We’re very sorry for the confusion, Andy.
