Today, Legend on the Bench proudly unveiled our 49th and 50th Suicide Prevention Benches in Dublin.

It was a truly special day, shared by many who came to witness the unveilings. The Venues were simply incredible and our benches looked very very stunning amidst the views. These moments were made even more memorable by the presence of the incredible Glenn Hoddle, who carried out both ceremonies, much to the delight of everyone in attendance.

The second unveiling was just as beautiful as the first, with Glenn once again unveiling the bench. The turnout matched that of the first event, and the continued support made the occasion all the more meaningful.

A big thank you to Joe Corr of CWPA for generously funding one of the benches being installed in Dublin. Our cause truly resonated with him, and we’re incredibly grateful for his commitment and support to our Charity.
Also Frank Kilbride of Swords Celtic FC for the Bench Location, Anne & Dessie McCrudden for the Rush Bench Location and Stephen Peppered who is supporting our next Bench Reveal in Portmarnock. Thank you all so very much for your support.
A massive thank you to Mags Malloy and the Dublin Spurs for their unwavering dedication, commitment, and support. You are truly amazing people, helping to save lives. From day one, you have worked tirelessly to raise the funds needed to bring these benches to Dublin, and we are deeply grateful.

To everyone who showed up to support the events, your presence means the world to us. The impact of these unveilings is magnified by the people who stand with us. Thank you for being there and for making the day even more meaningful.
A special thank you to Mags Malloy, who has made supporting and fundraising for our charity one of her personal missions. Mags, you are an absolute diamond, we love you and can’t thank you enough.
And finally, to Glenn Hoddle, what can we say? Travelling to Dublin to unveil our benches is an incredible gesture. It’s an honour to have someone of your talent and stature support our cause. But beyond your footballing greatness, your humility and willingness to help others makes you a true hero and a legend. Thank you, Glenn, you’ll always be my schoolboy hero. 💙💙💙👍
