Recently, Sandro and I had the joy of attending one of the team’s training sessions to present the kit to the players. This experience was more than just handing out uniforms; it was about building connections and encouraging young athletes to thrive but also bringing more awareness to our suicide prevention and mental health charity.

From the moment we arrived, the energy was palpable. The girls were buzzing with excitement and eagerly showed us how hard they had been working. Many of them have played football for years, and their dedication was clear in their agility, coordination, and teamwork during practice.
After we presented the new kits, the atmosphere transformed into pure fun when Sandro unexpectedly found himself in a Keepy Up competition. This light-hearted challenge had players trying to keep the ball in the air while demonstrating their ball control and technique.

Sandro was cheering for the girls and enjoying the friendly competition. However, he soon discovered he was up against some remarkably skilled athletes. The girls showcased impressive skills, executing tricks and displaying agility in keeping the ball airborne, with one particularly talented girl executing a perfect rainbow flick.
As the competition wound down, Sandro made it to the final round against a fierce contender. The laughter and cheers from everyone created a warm sense of camaraderie, uniting all the participants. While Sandro did not win the trophy, he certainly earned the respect of the girls and everyone present for his enthusiasm and spirit.
