Woking Bench Reveal No. 40 —- 10/07/2025
What a beautiful day for our 40th Bench Reveal.
The sun was shining brightly, and the attendees shone just as brightly in spirit.

We had a truly wonderful turnout—so many smiling faces, all gathered to witness the unveiling of the Suicide Prevention Bench and support our deeply meaningful cause. We are incredibly blessed to have met so many special people on this journey—individuals whose lives, in one way or another, have been touched by mental health or suicide. Together, united by shared values, we are making a difference and helping to save lives.

There are so many people to thank.
First, to Pyrford Cricket Club—thank you for allowing us to install the bench on your grounds and for allowing us to use your facilities, very very kind.
A heartfelt thank you to Simon Clifton for playing such a vital role in securing approval and for helping plan and execute the day with such care and kindness. Even the reception afterwards was perfect—thank you, Simon.
Also thanks to John at Ceramic Tiles in Woking for your kindness with the foundation tiles, we very much appreciate your support. And to everyone who played their part in helping raise the funds and contributing to this special Bench.

The wonderful Lindsey. What would we do without you? You’ve worked so hard to bring this installation to life, and now you’ve also stepped up as one of our Local Champions—amazing!
Your speech was simply beautiful and truly inspiring. The care and dedication you showed, in helping lay the foundations for the Bench, along with the help of these 3 Gentleman, Tim Lambkin, Phil Dean & John Chalkley spoke volumes about your kindness and commitment. You truly are one of a kind. 💙

All in all, the day was perfect. As always, the people who gathered were kind, supportive, and full of heart. We can’t thank you all enough—your generosity and compassion know no bounds.
After the darkest hour comes the light of day. 💙🙏
