Legend on the Bench Unveilled our 46th Bench in Godalming
Today marked another milestone in our journey as we unveiled our 46th bench in the beautiful town of Godalming, the setting was stunningly beautiful. We were honoured to have former Spurs player and FA Cup winner David Howells join us for the ceremony, along with his incredible son, Hudson.
The speeches were deeply moving, David spoke with his trademark sincerity, and John Neylon, as always, reminded us why this cause matters so deeply. But it was 10-year-old Hudson who stole the show.
With wisdom far beyond his years, Hudson spoke about the importance of mental health and suicide awareness with such clarity and compassion that he left the entire crowd in awe. His words resonated deeply, reminding us all of the importance of kindness, understanding, and looking out for one another. It’s truly remarkable for someone so young to speak with such purpose. We could listen to him speak all day. Well done, Hudson, you are a bright light in this world.
A heartfelt thank you to John Neylon, whose dedication, effort, and unwavering commitment continue to drive our mission forward. Your passion has changed lives and continues to be the heartbeat of our work. Together we are bringing more Awareness to Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Together We are Saving Lives. Thank you John
To everyone who attended today, thank you for your support, it is very much appreciated. Your presence makes these days more special and reminds us of the strength found in community.
And finally, to David Howells, there truly aren’t enough words. Your selfless support, your willingness to always step up without hesitation, and the way you lead by example continue to inspire us all. We are incredibly lucky to have you by our side. Thank you, Dave, you are the best. ❤️

In the words of young Hudson:
“Everything Matters — Life Matters — You Matter.”
At the End of the Darkest Hour Comes the Light of Day
