Legend on the Bench 27th Reveal.

On a hot, sunny day in Thaxted, Legend on the Bench proudly installed our 27th Suicide Prevention Bench. As always, the occasion was beautiful, with a great turnout of local residents showing up to support our cause.
The bench was unveiled by Lauren, Sandra, Ryley, and his sister Scarlett. It’s truly inspiring to see the younger generation getting involved—spreading awareness among their peers and learning about the serious impact of poor mental health.
It takes real courage for those struggling with mental health to stand up and talk. But it takes just as much courage to sit down and truly listen. Be brave on both fronts—speak up, and be there for those who do.
A special thank you goes to Chris Thompson for his generous support and donations toward the bench and our charity. Not all superheroes wear capes.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the local council for approving the installation in the town park, and to Vince, manager of the Maypole Pub in Thaxted, for hosting the reception, providing a wonderful buffet and not forgetting the fundraiser he set up which raised in excess of £1000. Thank you, Vince.
