Bench Reveal — 25.06.2025

We are delighted to announce the installation of our 37th Bench, unveiled on a beautiful summer’s day in Colchester — a Suicide Prevention Bench, dedicated to saving lives and giving hope and support at the moment it is needed.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in support of this vital cause. It was truly lovely to spend the day with such compassionate and thoughtful people. It’s amazing to see how many people this charity resonates with from every walk of life.

A special thank you to Rissa who got the ball rolling and worked closely with Michelle to ensure every detail was just right. Your dedication made this day possible and Legend on the Bench are very grateful to you for your time effort and commitment to our cause, you are helping save lives X

Huge thanks also to SISK Construction Company, who played a major role in bringing this vision to life. It was an absolute pleasure meeting you all — your contribution was invaluable. Suicide numbers are very high in the construction industry and it’s fantastic to see a construction company doing something about it and showing us that they care.

Big Thank you to J.P.Flynn who raised the funds to help make this bench a reality — your generosity and kindness overwhelm us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to you and those who helped and donated to the cause.

Following the unveiling, we were warmly welcomed at The Crown Pub, where we were treated like royalty. The hospitality and kindness throughout the day of all who attended was very much appreciated. We were served delicious food and drinks and I can’t lie I was very hungry lol.

It was a beautiful day, shared with beautiful people, all united by one goal — to save lives and remind others they are not alone and Someone is Always Listening. 🙏
