Bench Reveals

Dumfries Bench Reveal with Forme Spurs Player Ally Dick doing the Unveiling

Today marked another deeply meaningful milestone, as Legend on the Bench installed a new Suicide Prevention Bench in Dumfries, Scotland, a place of reflection, support, and hope for anyone who may need it.

These benches stand as quiet reminders that no one is ever truly alone, encouraging people to pause, take a moment, and reach out. Each installation is more than just a bench; it’s a symbol of compassion, community, and the importance of looking out for one another.

We were incredibly honoured to have former Spurs player Ali Dick unveil the bench. His presence helped shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness and the power of coming together to support those who may be struggling.

A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Peter, whose unwavering dedication, persistence, and hard work made this possible. From start to finish, Peter has been instrumental in getting this project over the line, and this bench now stands as a testament to his commitment to making a difference.

We hope this bench offers comfort, starts conversations, and reminds everyone who passes by that help, hope, and kindness are always within reach.

“Sometimes Hope sits on a Bench, and patiently waits for Someone to sit beside it.”
